About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in O Fallon, MO. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and segregating and controlling non-conforming items. The inspector will perform preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance. Under limited supervision, the inspector will inspect incoming parts/material, outgoing orders, verify certification correctness, check parts for processing, and handle special orders. Daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, and indicators is expected. This role also provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team. Responsibilities include conducting dimensional inspections per design records and documented AQL levels, and visual inspections for obvious defects. Reviewing and dispositioning all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards, and communicating with vendors as needed, are also key duties. Disposition and control of non-conforming products are essential.

Requirements

2+ years’ related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator.
2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
