About The Position

Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join their team in O Fallon, MO. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and segregating and controlling non-conforming items. The inspector will perform preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformances. Under limited supervision, the Associate Quality Inspector will inspect incoming parts/material, outgoing orders, verify certification accuracy, check parts for processing, and handle special orders. Daily use of tools such as micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, and indicators is expected. The role also includes providing mentorship to the Inspection team, conducting dimensional inspections per design records and documented AQL levels, and performing visual inspections for obvious defects. Reviewing and disposing of all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards, and communicating with vendors as needed, are also key responsibilities. Disposition and control of non-conforming products are critical functions of this position.

Requirements

2+ years’ related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures
Reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
