About The Position

This role involves assisting in coordinating and implementing quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. The Associate Quality Control Engineer will respond to line calls with immediate corrective action, assist in developing long-range corrective measures through root-cause analysis, and provide accurate and timely data to management regarding quality concerns. The position also includes procuring gauges and measuring equipment, performing machine and gauge capability studies, and keeping management informed of progress and potential issues. The role requires implementing and ensuring good health and safety practices, assisting in developing and implementing quality audits, and coordinating problem-solving efforts. Additionally, the engineer will design and implement state-of-the-art process control programs for inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices, and stay updated on specifications, regulations, and industry standards. The role also involves writing and distributing quality data and reports, promoting a compliance culture, and performing special projects as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Quality Engineering; or 4 years of experience in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
Ability to work flexible hours or shifts.

Good knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of internal combustion engines.
Good knowledge of the dynamic performance requirements, test setup and monitoring, and problem resolution of internal combustion engines
Good knowledge of quality control, raw materials, manufacturing processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of engines
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities
