About The Position
The person in this position is responsible for the quality and proper functionality of Light & Wonder systems, games and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- 0 to 1 year of experience in Software Testing
- Proficiency in software quality testing and assurance, with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document and convey information
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data analysis
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and Linux environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse professional teams
- Ability to promptly engage and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with programming languages, scripting, test management tools, and defect tracking tools is preferred
- Understanding of serial communication protocols
- Knowledge as prompt engineering is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and Execute Tests: Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing requirements
- Ensure Compliance: Verify that products meet technical standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and Resolve Issues: Investigate and reproduce problems reported by users or external testing teams
- Test Updates: Validate hardware and firmware updates from vendors to ensure stability
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases
- Improve Processes: Provide feedback and suggest improvements for better quality and efficiency
- Report Progress: Prepare and deliver periodic project and testing status reports
- Document Defects: Log detailed defects with reproduction steps, severity, and impact
