About The Position

Trane Technologies is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the execution of HVAC and turnkey projects, encompassing financial management, administration, implementation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This individual will manage a portfolio of smaller projects and may lead specific assigned tasks on larger projects under oversight. The position contributes to making a better future by boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.

Requirements

  • Average financial and business acumen with a background in construction processes
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of mechanical systems and managing subcontractors preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management a plus
  • Experience utilizing project management tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, awards subcontracts, and manages subcontractor execution.
  • Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, backlog reviews, and applied cost.
  • Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors to establish project task, communications for project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals.
  • Leads all aspects of project administration including, awareness of construction contract content and language, validating project scope / cost / schedule, managing project compliance, project documentation, project safety guidelines.
