About The Position

Siemens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to support Project Managers and Operations Managers in various project-related tasks within the Building Automation Division. This role is crucial for ensuring project success, from initial setup to final closeout, and contributes to improving safety metrics and operational efficiency. The position is based in Fremont or Rancho Cordova, CA, supporting branches throughout Northern California, and requires full-time onsite work with light travel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project coordination, administration or management or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite/M365 Software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Project Management Software (MS Projects) or similar.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures (safety metrics tracking) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in all project management tasks, including material handling, billing, booking change orders, document management, project cost adjustments, site access, and process maturity.
  • Track project progress and update project tracking systems.
  • Attend meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes.
  • Support the maintenance of a branch SharePoint with closeout documents for easy access by the Service team.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Specialists to obtain necessary documents once the project is completed.
  • Contribute to improving safety metrics.
  • Assist in onboarding processes, including setting up necessary tools and software.
  • Track monthly key performance indicators to ensure overall Project Team compliance.
