About The Position

Applied Systems is hiring an entry-level Associate Project Manager for its Activation Services Team in Chicago. The role works alongside an experienced Project Manager to support client projects, coordinate project activities, and contribute to successful outcomes. The position follows a hybrid model, with three days per week in the Chicago office, Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain documentation, and support budget tracking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A customer-focused, solutions-oriented mindset.
Eagerness to develop project management expertise and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting project budgets, reporting, or administrative project coordination activities.
Exposure to software products, SaaS environments, or workflow optimization initiatives.
Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, or best practices through coursework, internships, or prior experience.

Responsibilities

Support project planning and execution by helping gather requirements, track deliverables, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Prepare and distribute project status updates and maintain accurate project documentation, records, and files.
Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams so stakeholders are informed of progress, changes, and next steps.
Document customer interactions, project milestones, completed tasks, and action items.
Partner with an experienced Project Manager to learn project management best practices and support successful client outcomes.
