The Associate Project Manager will maintain a full portfolio of annual maintenance accounts and/or projects, performing all contracted services including client communication and permit compliance. This role involves evaluating site/waterbody conditions, conducting aquatic pesticide applications, and operating various equipment. The Associate Project Manager will manage product usage and labor costs within budget, calculate pesticide dosage, and participate in fisheries work. Responsibilities also include performing baseline waterbody assessments, collecting biological data, and supporting district operations with client communication and meeting attendance. The role requires proactively providing management recommendations, assisting with program evaluation and design, and participating in project data analysis and report writing. Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will develop technical reports, assist with service technique innovation, and support Project Managers with technical writing for permits and reports. Under supervision, they will design and conduct biological evaluations, provide technical support, and assist with understanding project logistical requirements and scheduling. Utilization of GPS and ArcView GIS software for mapping and treatment area calculations is expected. The role also involves supporting larger one-time projects with material purchases, equipment rental, and staff coordination.
