About The Position

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join their talented, inclusive, and supportive LNG project team, which includes engineering, procurement, and construction professionals. The Fuels and Natural Resources business focuses on clients converting critical resources into essential minerals, fuels, and feedstocks, with a continued investment in renewable energy to support sustainable solutions. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of innovative energy solutions. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of assigned projects, including risks to cost, schedule, and quality. Responsibilities include the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope, focusing on performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. This role also involves coordinating and integrating activities related to design, permitting, material management, and construction installation, including the activities of all third-party companies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of project support experience in Engineering or related technical function.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, incompliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes safety culture
  • Oversees planning, developing, issuing, and progress tracking of all assigned projects
  • Works with Discipline Engineers and Construction Managers to identify and resolve problems or issues related to design information, schedule, material deliveries, change management, safety, and quality
  • Manages escalated problems or issues
  • Supports commercial recovery process and close-out
  • Manages the application of quality and control procedures
  • Acts as a project manager, including management of a project team.
