The Associate Project Manager will support the successful completion of the assigned project while adhering to the company profitability guidelines and contractual requirements. This position will assist in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of Fire Protection/Detection Systems, as well as SeCom Systems. This role covers all aspects within contracts, working closely with senior team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State-Issued Driver’s License.
  • Basic understanding of current codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

  • Basic budget management knowledge

  • Scheduling skills and Milestone management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field, preferred.
  • NICET or Manufacturer training preferred.
  • One year of Project Manager experience in fire protection or related construction field is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and supporting multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to review and monitor operation budget spending, labor and material efficiency, and customer service.
  • Assist in reviewing performance against operating plans and standards.
  • Work closely with various departments within the branch to fulfill project responsibility.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve issues and disputes.
  • Familiarize yourself with the project management tools and software.
  • Attend mandatory company meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
