About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Associate Project Management Specialist (Level 2) to join the Manufacturing team located in Heath, OH. This position will support the organization in managing small to moderately complex projects. The main responsibilities will include scheduling, managing, and tracking the performance of projects, creating presentations and briefing customers and senior leadership. The selected candidate must possess the ability to apply, understand, and implement projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK].

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
• 3+ years of Experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, or related experience
• Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
• Experience in utilizing Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
• Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP).
