Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field plus 2 years of experience.
  • Financial statement analysis capabilities
  • Financial modeling proficiency
  • Understanding of legal agreements and contractual documentation
  • Expertise in credit risk assessment and evaluation
  • Analytical writing skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering studies and technical reports

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing credit monitoring for a portfolio of project finance borrowers, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
  • Identify potential credit issues early by continuously reviewing portfolio performance and risk indicators.
  • Analyze amendment, consent, and waiver requests, assess credit impact, and prepare recommendations for credit approval.
  • Prepare periodic credit reviews and maintain up‑to‑date reporting on portfolio quality.
  • Collaborate with borrowers, legal counsel, engineers, and consultants to manage consent processes and negotiate changes to financing documentation.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance against established criteria, recommending rating or grading adjustments where appropriate.
  • Support risk mitigation through counterparty credit analysis and strategies to reduce credit exposure.
  • Ensure accurate KYC information and maintain required compliance documentation for all borrowers.
  • Prepare credit applications and internal memos presenting well‑structured arguments and recommended actions.
