About The Position

L3Harris is looking for an Associate, Program Scheduler/Planner. This is an entry-level professional role with broad theoretical job knowledge. The individual works under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. They communicate with contacts in their own team to explain and interpret information and contribute to systems and processes changes in work routines. The role works to achieve operational targets that impact team results. The Program Scheduler's work consists of less-routine tasks in contribution to changes in systems and processes to solve problems. They may be required to apply discretion within identified boundaries and procedures. This role is responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. The individual is expected to propose solutions to problems for others review. They perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects. They ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. The role tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. They utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. The role ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field or have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
