The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, is a premier advanced manufacturing facility that supports the safety, security, reliability and effectiveness of our nation's nuclear deterrent. This is an entry-level position performing routine program management functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope. The role involves completing assignments, with detailed instructions, in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program elements.
  • Provides input into the review and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
  • Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements.
  • Participates in the establishment of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs.
  • Assists in the technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more program elements.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units.
