About The Position

Emory University is seeking an independent cancer researcher with a faculty position, specializing in lung cancer and/or other epithelial cancers. The role requires expertise in cancer signaling pathways that align with the interests of Cell Biology faculty and translational research at Winship. This position is not open to individuals in postdoctoral or other non-independent positions. Active funding of at least one federally funded grant as Principal Investigator (e.g., R01) is a requirement for consideration at the associate professor level. Applicants who are already assistant professors with federal funding as PI will also be considered.

Requirements

  • Current faculty member.
  • Expertise in lung cancer and/or other epithelial cancers.
  • Expertise in cancer signaling pathways.
  • Active funding of at least one federally funded grant as Principal Investigator (e.g., R01) for associate professor level consideration.
  • Assistant professors with federal funding as PI will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent cancer research in the area of lung cancer and/or other epithelial cancers.
  • Integrate research interests with Cell Biology faculty and translational research at Winship.
  • Maintain active funding of at least one federally funded grant as Principal Investigator.
