About The Position

A. T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) is seeking an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy. This role involves teaching clinical, policy, practice, and theory courses within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and other assigned programs. A significant portion of the role also includes research and scholarship, student advising and evaluation, and providing physical therapy practice in the university's pro bono clinic and other program-related clinics. The position also includes service responsibilities.

Requirements

• PhD or other academic doctoral degree in health-related field or education (can be foreign equivalent)
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctor of Physical Therapy
• 48 months experience in physical therapy practice in an acute care clinical setting
• Demonstrated record of research or scholarship
• Arizona Physical Therapist License or license-eligible

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical, policy, practice, and theory courses in Doctor of Physical Therapy program and in related programs as assigned (55%)
• Research and scholarship (15%)
• Student advising and evaluation (15%)
• Physical therapy practice in the university’s pro bono clinic and other program-related clinics (5%)
• Service (10%)
