Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, shipping orders, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, auditors and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proper operation of the R&D Lab winding machines including all the different types of bobbins for different carrier applications.
  • Primarily focus on large contract winding jobs that require traverse adjustments during the run time of the machine.
  • Responsible for the complete and proper packaging of the finished product per customer request.
  • Operation of R&D Lab winding machines
  • Packaging of finished product
  • Assemble/modify braiding machine carriers
  • Assist Lab technicians with braiding machine set up if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
