About The Position

Medgene Labs seeks a Production Support Associate to perform support activities for Vaccine Production within the site's described procedures. The Production Support Associate is responsible for ensuring reliable and accurate support in the preparation of supplies required for vaccine production, as well as completing the labeling and various packaging activities of the vaccines.

Requirements

Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices.
Knowledge of operation of basic laboratory equipment.
Ability to effectively clean and sanitize laboratory equipment.
Ability to follow specific procedures.
Ability to work safely with infectious materials and specimens.
Ability to operate scientific equipment and computers.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Ability to keep detailed and accurate documentation.
Ability to maintain a safe work environment for self and other employees at all times.
Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures.
Ability to execute procedures to ensure compliance with CVB regulations.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, scientific protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
Experience with an autoclave is preferred but not required.
Aseptic technique knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform support activities for Vaccine Production within the site's described procedures.
Ensure reliable and accurate support in the preparation of supplies required for vaccine production.
Complete the labeling and various packaging activities of the vaccines.
Prepare and sterilize media, buffers, and reagents.
Use delicate scales for precise measurements.
Operate pumps and filtration devices for sterilization.
Perform basic chemistry for pH adjustments.
Accurately label and package vaccine products.
Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware, carboys, tubing, connectors, etc.
Operate autoclave for sterilization.
Perform general cleaning and upkeep of laboratories.
Monitor and record equipment data, such as temperatures.
Maintain and monitor inventories of supplies and materials required in all assigned tasks and procedures.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation, as required.
Properly handle, identify, sort, prepare, sterilize, and dispose of biohazard materials and hazardous chemicals.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, using proper safety equipment and following safety procedures.
Other tasks as assigned.
