About The Position

This role involves developing and implementing manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules. The Associate, Production Planning will utilize the Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system for various tasks including inputting Master Schedule build plans, tracking material availability, monitoring kit readiness, releasing shop orders, and maintaining shop order records and inventory integrity. The position also requires updating make items lead times in the MRP system, managing floor stock of program components, and collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedules and resolve issues. Additionally, the role involves working with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates for planning accuracy, and providing hardware status, updates, and performance statistics to the program team using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related field
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
  • Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity
  • Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system
  • Manage floor stock of program components
  • Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner
  • Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning
  • Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
