About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence in our Canoga Park, California facility. Enjoy work/life balance at our Canoga Park, CA site. At this facility, we design & manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration & the defense of our nation. In this role, you will manage the Load Analyst and Product Liaison teams. These teams facilitate the flow of work through our factory.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior manufacturing experience.
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior manufacturing experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with L3 Harris LA Site Programs, Manufacturing processes.
Intermediate MS Excel skill level.
Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP and Delmia MES systems.
Transactions and extracting data for analysis.

Responsibilities

Direct daily work assignments to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
Maintain employee training and critical skills.
Mentor and support employees on career growth.
Approve timecards and managing labor charging to ensure regulatory compliance.
Drive process improvement projects to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability with a focus on reduced costs and improved quality.
Identify, report, and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Work with your teams to implement safety improvements and drive a culture that promotes a safe environment.
Support internal and external audits.
Drive root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective action on any findings.
