About The Position

Indiana Packers is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Associate Production team members on the Cold Side. In this full-time role, Production Associates help process, package, and inspect meat products.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work in a cold, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Rehire criteria is 120 days of waiting period from most recent termination date.
• Three times rule, candidates are not eligible if they worked for Indiana Packers 3 times already.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and works well in a team environment.
• Committed to following all company policies, including food safety and workplace safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production tasks, which may include cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, labeling, and preparing meat products for shipment.
• Operate production machinery and equipment as needed while following proper procedures.
• Support food safety and quality assurance standards in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently with team members to help meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Assist supervisors and management with additional duties as assigned.
