About The Position

Performance Validation is seeking an Associate Product Manager, New Services to join our Indianapolis team. This is a new role focused on identifying and developing new service lines for the life science industries. Instead of executing client work, this role involves market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning to determine which new services PV should offer. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical background and industry knowledge to identify unmet client needs and translate them into viable service offerings. This position offers a unique path into product management and business strategy within the life sciences sector, with direct access to leadership for research findings. As the organization grows, the role will report to a VP.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CQV or Cx experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or life sciences
  • Experience in FDA-regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences) preferred
  • A high level of curiosity and confidence in front of clients
  • A self-starter who is creative, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to zero in on solutions
  • Committed to building product management and marketing skills through self-learning and outside coursework
  • Based at our Indianapolis headquarters
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and data analysis to identify and prioritize new service lines.
  • Research direct and adjacent competitors through market reports, industry surveys, and interviews.
  • Translate research findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Help develop service concepts and strategies for market entry.
  • Conduct primary market research, including meeting industry leaders and prospective clients.
  • Test-market proposed solutions with clients to confirm market fit.
  • Build full launch plans covering resourcing, timing, delivery skills, training, pricing, target markets, positioning, messaging, technical content, collateral, demand generation, success metrics, and financial budgeting/forecasting.
  • Work with Commercial and Service Delivery teams to launch new services internally and externally.
  • Track the performance of new services and adjust offerings based on feedback.
  • Lead new service introduction efforts and own the roadmap.
