About The Position

The Associate Product Manager (APM) is an entry point into the product management track for individuals transitioning from business analysis, data, or technical roles, or those early in their product careers. The role is dedicated to Project Atlas, isolved’s multi-year modernization of its core HCM platform, which breaks monolithic data into domain services and replaces direct database access with production APIs. Rather than owning a traditional feature backlog, the APM defines and coordinates focused deliverables that bring Atlas engineering, data, and reporting teams together around real use cases to prove the new architecture. The APM also bridges Atlas and the product teams that will consume its data, learning their needs ahead of each data domain release and providing evidence-based recommendations on priority and sequencing. The position reports to the Director of Product Management for the Scalability Pod (Data, Analytics & Reporting) and works primarily embedded with Project Atlas. This is a journey-level, career-oriented role for a seasoned professional with a full understanding of their area of specialization and an emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals. The APM resolves a wide range of issues creatively, works on problems of diverse scope, exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques, and networks with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise. The position normally receives little day-to-day instruction and general instructions on new assignments. The employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Domestic travel of up to 15% may be required.
