About The Position

The Associate Product Manager, Product Marketing supports the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager overseeing the assigned product line with competitive tracking, market share analysis, and opportunity sizing — the analytical foundation used to make roadmap and investment decisions. In a segment too small to warrant a dedicated Senior Product Manager, reports directly to the Director, Product Marketing instead. Does not own P&L or carry independent decision authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in product management, brand management, category management, market research, or analytics.
  • Experience working with market share and syndicated data sources
  • Working knowledge of relevant building codes and regulatory standards (e.g., ASTM, UL, ICC, ISO)
  • Comfort using AI tools for research synthesis, data analysis, and first-draft content support in day-to-day work

  • Conduct ongoing competitive landscape tracking and category share analysis for the assigned product line
  • Size new product and partnership opportunities — market size, addressable segments, estimated share capture — to support business case development
  • Support analysis and interpretation of consumer and contractor research to help identify unmet needs for the assigned line
  • Maintain data consistency with the methodology and templates set by the Category Analyst
  • Support the Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in preparing stage-gate materials and business case presentations
  • Assist in developing trade and promotional plans and tracking in-market program results
  • Support development of creative briefs and business plan materials in partnership with Brand Management, where applicable
  • Participate in the business team cadence, tracking action items and following up across functions
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning on translating roadmap and launch timing into forecast inputs
  • Assist with pricing analysis and P&L modeling support, including for any partner-facing supply or licensing relationships in the assignment
  • Maintain product documentation, technical data sheets, and compliance information for the assigned line
  • Support product change management, including engineering change orders (ECOs), SKU rationalization, and obsolescence planning
