About The Position

PICTON Investments is seeking an experienced Investment Product Manager to join their Product Management team. This role involves taking ownership of product strategy and execution for a portfolio of complex, high-priority initiatives. The successful candidate will independently drive product positioning, lead cross-functional coordination, and act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, requiring minimal ramp-up time. Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in financial services, ideally in product, operations, or client management.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships in B2B or advisor-facing environments.
  • Solid understanding of advisor distribution channels, including institutional, retail, and independent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders independently — including Sales, Legal/Compliance, and Investment Management — with confidence, influence, and sound judgment.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous learning, particularly in alternative investments.
  • Track record of self-initiating projects, managing competing priorities across multiple workstreams, and delivering results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
  • CFA charterholder or advanced progress toward CFA or CAIA designation strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and events with strategic intent.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal stakeholders in developing and maintaining product positioning, pitchbooks, and sales tools.
  • Own and drive product management strategies end-to-end, ensuring advisors and clients have clear, compelling, and actionable materials that support asset growth and retention.
  • Create portfolio manager decks, custom presentations, and other collateral to support business goals.
  • Conduct research for competitive intelligence for key competitors and analyze industry trends to provide timely insights.
  • Support the marketing team in creating marketing content and developing content for new initiatives or product launches.
  • Independently lead and project-manage key strategic initiatives across new initiatives and new product launch workstreams, coordinating across Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and Investment Management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the product suite, improve existing processes, and propose new initiatives based on market intelligence and internal needs.
  • Own the monthly product report card process and all recurring deliverables, continuously improving quality and identifying opportunities to enhance their strategic value.
  • Ensure all client-facing materials are accurate, up-to-date, and consistent.
  • Support data inputs, validation, and distribution across third-party databases.
  • Align external data with internal records and strategy.
  • Serve as an independent and credible voice of the client and advisor in internal discussions, shaping product strategy and prioritization with conviction.
  • Build deep understanding of the investment philosophy, process, and performance drivers.
  • Analyze and communicate performance and attribution trends clearly.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across the firm — managing stakeholder expectations, resolving competing priorities, and driving timely execution independently.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing Product function as the team scales.
