About The Position

InterPark is seeking an Associate Product Manager of Data & Internal Systems to guide the processing, storage, and analysis of data generated by their iParkit Operating Platform. This role will partner with Finance and Accounting to meet financial reporting requirements and with Operations to identify opportunities for revenue increase, efficiency improvements, and better business performance insights through data. The position applies a product methodology to data infrastructure, focusing on the underlying data infrastructure that enables smarter business decisions rather than producing reports or dashboards directly. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding an established business into the AI era by leveraging technology for tangible operational and financial value.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Product, Data Science, and/or Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and internship experience.
  • Ability to think in systems and understand the connection between digital and physical worlds.
  • Excitement for guiding an established business into the AI era by applying technology.
  • Initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and energy for growing with the business and shaping the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and recommend solutions by understanding business problems beyond stakeholder requests.
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, or process documentation that technical teams have successfully built from.
  • Working knowledge of relational data structures, APIs, and business systems.
  • Ability to hold intelligent conversations with engineers about data flow and system design.
  • Comfort with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL basics, BI dashboards) to independently validate assumptions and measure outcomes.

  • Familiarity with workflow automation concepts and platforms (e.g., iPaaS, RPA, AI-assisted routing).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering teams to guide the development of InterPark's data infrastructure, defining ingestion requirements across various sources.
  • Ensure data is structured, accessible, and semantically consistent for reporting, decision-making, and AI-powered applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations, supporting systems, and internal stakeholder challenges.
  • Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and identify opportunities for process and technology improvements in areas like budgeting, capital expenses, forecasting, and pricing.
  • Define and deliver new solutions when existing tools are insufficient, working with engineers and designers to build internal applications.
  • Explore opportunities to make data more accessible and actionable, developing new tools, interfaces, and AI-powered experiences.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand goals, gather feedback, and build strong working relationships.
