About The Position

InterPark is seeking an Associate Product Manager of Data & Internal Systems to guide the development and application of technology within their established parking operations. The company, a leader in parking real estate, utilizes its iParkit Operating Platform to enhance the customer experience and manage operations. This role is crucial for capturing, processing, storing, and analyzing the data generated by the iParkit platform to support financial reporting, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making. The Associate Product Manager will apply product methodology to data infrastructure, acting as the intelligence behind business intelligence and focusing on the underlying data infrastructure that enables smarter business decisions.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience in Product, Data Science, and/or Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and internship experience.
  • Ability to think in systems and understand how the digital and physical worlds connect.
  • Excitement for guiding an established business into the AI era by applying technology to create tangible operational and financial value.
  • Initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and energy for growing with the business and shaping the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and recommend solutions by understanding the business problems beyond what stakeholders requested.
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, or process documentation that a technical team has successfully built from.
  • Working knowledge of how relational data structures, APIs, and business systems function.
  • Ability to hold intelligent conversations with engineers about data flow and system design.
  • Comfort with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL basics, BI dashboards) to independently validate assumptions and measure outcomes.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the US.
  • At least 18 years of age (21+ if working at an off-airport location).
  • Willingness to submit to and pass a background investigation, drug test, and reference checks.
  • Sufficient vision and hearing faculties to perform essential functions.
  • Willingness to work in the Corporate Office 4 to 5 days a week.
  • Willingness to work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in a data-adjacent field and a desire to understand how internal systems work together.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation concepts and platforms (e.g., iPaaS, RPA, AI-assisted routing).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering teams to guide the development of InterPark's data infrastructure, defining ingestion requirements across internal systems, vendor APIs, and file-based sources.
  • Ensure data is structured, accessible, and semantically consistent for reporting, decision-making, and AI-powered applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how the business operates, the supporting systems, and the challenges faced by internal stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and identify opportunities to improve processes and technology in areas such as budgeting, capital expenses, forecasting, and pricing.
  • Define and deliver new solutions when existing tools fall short, working closely with engineers and designers to build internal applications that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and the employee experience.
  • Explore opportunities to make data more accessible and actionable across the organization by developing new tools, interfaces, and AI-powered experiences.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their goals, gather feedback, and build strong working relationships.
