About The Position

This role requires category-specific knowledge and experience, with a deep understanding of the procurement-to-pay cycle. The Associate will support Sourcing Managers with category strategy development and improvement, including spend data analysis, project scoping, and requirement gathering. The position also involves assisting with RFQs, analyzing stakeholder surveys for Supplier Business Reviews, and working closely with vendors to resolve inquiries.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of procurement-to-pay cycle
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data in Excel using pivot tables and various other key Excel functions to analyze, organize and present data
• Ability to work with various technology platforms
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and team leadership capabilities
• Excellent project management skills including project planning, time management, multitasking, critical path definition
• Strong customer service orientation including demonstrated issue resolution and relationship management skill
• Ability to learn and master client specific processes, terminology, political environment, systems and unique requirements by various business groups
• Solid decision making ability using available facts in sensitive client situations
• Need to be analytical and self-driven

Nice To Haves

• Consulting or client service delivery experience a plus
• Experience in some of the following categories: Professional Services, Construction, IT infrastructure, Data Center, Connectivity, Technology NPI

Responsibilities

• Support with Invoice Reconciliation
• Assist Sourcing Managers with category strategy development and improvement, including but not limited to overall spend data analysis and summary, project scoping discussion with the stakeholders, providing assistance with requirement gathering prior to project scoping.
• Support with RFQ
• Support with sending and analyzing stakeholder surveys results for Supplier Business Reviews
• Work closely with vendors to support or resolve any inquiries
