This role will implement solutions for the Johnson & Johnson enterprise to minimize risk and enhance the company's reputation through our vast network of suppliers. This position will work closely with our Responsible Sourcing subject matter experts and support the execution of our responsible sourcing program, including supporting the delivery of our Health for Humanity goals. Responsible sourcing is an area of ever-increasing complexity in today's global environment, and this role will require partnering with, learning from, and influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of our stakeholders’ expectations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 4 years of Sourcing, Procurement, Finance or Process Excellence required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data cleansing, filtering, pivot tables) with strong ability to translate data into actionable insights are required.
  • Advanced use of CoPilot and other AI tools to optimize processes and minimize rework is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience producing executive-level presentations is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; ability to build and deliver compelling and engaging communications is required.
  • Experience collaborating with internal business partners is required.
  • A sharp focus on delivery through planning, organizing and managing end-to-end tasks with minimal supervision is required.
  • High commitment to quality, attention to detail and confidentiality is required.
  • Procurement: understanding of systems, processes, and category management is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and advise the Procurement organization’s activities to deliver against our Health for Humanity goals, legal obligations, and our Responsibility Standards for Suppliers.
  • Manage the administration of our third-party providers that complete work related to our due diligence, legal filings, and other responsible sourcing commitments.
  • Communicate J&J's expectations related to the Responsible Sourcing Program to our supply base and support supplier education on environmental, human rights, and supplier inclusion topics.
  • Ensure timely analysis, reporting, and communication of program metrics and internal/external data insights so programs run smoothly and subject matter experts are supported in strategic decisions.
  • Ensure the internal tools and solutions used to execute our programs are fit for purpose, including managing changes and upgrades aligned to strategic needs.
  • Manage and follow up on required financial and scorecarding tasks to ensure timely support for external third-party providers and others.
  • Create and maintain program documentation, including internal SharePoint sites and knowledge resources.
  • Support the annual business planning process with the team and communicate program requirements and targets to Procurement and other internal stakeholders.
  • To be successful, this individual must build strong engagement and alignment with key business partners across Procurement, Global Sustainability Office, EHS, Supply Chain, Compliance & Risk, Audit, Legal, and Finance in our global organizations.
