Associate Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join the Weapons Direct Attack Team in Saint Charles, Missouri. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requirements
- More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- More than 3 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
- Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- Experience working on a Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposal
Responsibilities
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
