About The Position

As an Associate, Process Manager at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for creating and enhancing processes within the Sales Center of Excellence Command Center. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. Being detail oriented along with the ability to connect dots among all the different teams/systems is key to success in this position. In this position you will contribute immediately while strengthening your process management best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, or Risk Management

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

Responsibilities

  • Day to day oversight of multiple business processes.
  • Monitor, report, and plan process improvement or manage process controls; identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups.
  • Resolve complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate breakdowns in the process by asking the right questions and identify and involve the right stakeholders to correct breakdowns.
  • Develop and maintain formal process documents, and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams).
  • Collaborate on larger initiatives, including representing the department on broader change control forums for input and to represent department interests; challenge forum decisions if project outcome impacts department processes.
  • Provide training to internal customers on specific processes they manage; may deliver presentations, including up to the executive level.
