About The Position

Mars Snacking’s Accelerator is a growth engine focused on high-potential categories and brands, using innovation, data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to accelerate performance. The Associate Process Engineer will work at the Jackson, Tennessee plant, leading initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.

The role typically works from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with rotating shifts during the first six months to learn the equipment. The position supports production operations, continuous improvement, team direction, and safety and food-safety efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/GED with related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs and processes.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing people.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining accountability and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities on the assigned shift to support production goals, sanitation efforts, maintenance requests, technicians, and the overall budget.
• Apply continuous-improvement practices, including 5S, root cause analysis (RCA), and LEAN.
• Provide direction and support to team members on various projects.
• Focus on people safety and food safety throughout operations.
