The Associate, Portfolio Management is an individual contributor responsible for performing financial analysis and preparing underwriting documents to support multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests that grow funded assets and Key's client base, while maintaining asset quality within a moderate risk profile. These requests include obtaining initial approval for new credit exposure (e.g., revolving credit facilities, term loans, leases, foreign exchange products, derivatives products, and other ancillary products) and amendments to existing exposure. Additionally, the Associate, Portfolio Management is responsible for ongoing credit monitoring and risk rating for a portfolio of corporate clients with a complexity profile commensurate to experience (primarily participation in other bank's syndicated deals), reviewing legal documentation, and assisting product partners in cross-selling additional bank products. This individual should demonstrate emerging leadership skills within credit underwriting and portfolio management; they may work somewhat independently, or in conjunction with/under the supervision of other Portfolio Managers (PMs) on a deal team, providing feedback and guidance to Analysts and third-party staff as appropriate. As part of the first line of defense, Associate PMs are expected to consistently demonstrate a solutions-oriented, growth mindset that is supportive of line of business goals while still maintaining a moderate risk appetite and upholding asset quality. The Leveraged Loans Associate, Portfolio Management will be responsible for supporting the Leveraged Loans team in their performance of financial analysis and the preparation of underwriting documents to support complex, multimillion-dollar LBOs, MBOs, go-privates and recapitalizations. Additionally, the Leveraged Loans Associate will assist the team with ongoing credit monitoring, LCF modeling, underwriting and diligence on new transactions and annual reviews and will, with experience, be responsible for managing on an ongoing basis a TBD number of existing leveraged credit relationships. This job reports up through Banking Group Portfolio Management (BGPM). BGPM is responsible for underwriting new loan opportunities and managing a portfolio of loans in the following industry and business segments: Energy, Leveraged Finance, Healthcare, Asset Based Lending, Diversified, Middle Market (including Agribusiness), Business Banking, Private Banking, Small Business and SBA.
