About The Position
The Staff Physician will primarily provide services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health-Orange. Staff Physician will provide both patient care and resident attending coverage when residents are present. Staff Physician is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation process to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain UCI medical staff privileges
- California Medical License/California Medical License eligibility
- An active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Provide resident attending coverage when residents are present.
- Comply with all compliance standards.
- Complete all required trainings.
- Follow proper documentation process to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
