About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch at the Roosevelt Gardens Branch in Norfolk, Virginia. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns customers’ goals and connects them with banking products, services, and digital tools to help them manage their finances. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success depends on relationship building, sound judgment, and balancing service with growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position includes cash handling and teller line activities, as well as customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. The schedule will include Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment, and Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The base pay range is $21.00–$28.00. Pay may vary based on prior performance, skills, experience, and work location; employees may also be eligible for incentives. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Nice To Haves
