About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch in South Lake Union, Seattle. This frontline role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while working with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success in this role depends on relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with growth. The position offers training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The work includes both cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. The schedule includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The stated base pay range is $23.00–$31.00; pay may vary based on prior performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentives.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Nice To Haves

Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Follow applicable policies and regulations, identify and escalate risk concerns, and fulfill risk and compliance obligations.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
