About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with suitable banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It provides a foundation for career growth and mobility, with training and coaching from Wells Fargo. The position is based at 5009 Teasley Ln, Denton, Texas. The schedule includes Saturdays and requires flexibility between cash handling and customer banking activities, with emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and applicable company standards. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies and applicable standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Ability to comply with applicable policies, procedures, and risk and compliance obligations.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify ways to support customer needs.
Comfort with digital tools and technology, ability to learn new systems quickly, and confidence guiding customers in adopting useful capabilities.
