Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of customer and/or clerical experience
  • Beginner level of knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Beginner level of experience with verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working with the older population
  • Strong bilingual English, Spanish fluency

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all reception and front office duties, including attending to visitors and responding to telephonic and in-person inquiries
  • Assists other staff members with various clerical duties as necessary, including photocopying, and filing
  • Oversee the day-to-day senior center activities; attendance of members; meal attendance; and conduct announcements in the facility as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
