About The Position
An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist to work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the affiliated doctor operates the doctor’s office and provides optometric care and service to patients. The terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly between the associate and the Subleasing Doctor. The role offers professional autonomy and a full scope of practice based on the associate’s professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor, without company-imposed restrictions or quotas. Flexible scheduling may include part-time commitments or work added to an existing practice schedule. Offices are fully furnished and equipped; many use Clarifye digital eye examination technology. Most offices offer the Daytona Optomap Digital Retinal Imaging System, along with technical and pre-testing support. An automated online appointment book and patient recall system are also available.
