About The Position

The Associate Operator produces quality intermediates and finished products according to a predetermined operations plan. The role operates process equipment in accordance with Key Performance Measures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety and regulatory requirements, and site goals. The position is based in Belvidere, New Jersey and works rotating 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
Ability to operate computers.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment and processes to produce quality intermediates and finished products according to a predetermined operations plan.
Identify equipment and process problems and improvement opportunities, communicate findings, and adjust operations in response to process changes or to optimize performance.
Obtain and inspect finished and in-process product; perform required sampling and testing.
Operate a forklift, subdivide and dispense raw materials, and perform material handling, including loading trailers, manually dumping ingredient and reprocessed-material bags or drums, and packaging finished product.
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance in process areas, including painting, cleaning, and minor equipment repair as part of the Manufacturing Excellence environment.
Maintain process and equipment documentation for tracking Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), review batch sheets for accuracy, prepare final product labels, and maintain label control.
Provide input to Department Management for nonconformance investigations and prepare associated documentation.
Generate statistical information to support operations and serve as management tools.
Perform other duties assigned by Belvidere leadership.
