About The Position

The Associate Operations Specialist role provides support for field-based staff, a network of Trade Allies, and other program participants within ICF’s Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency team. This role ensures the successful evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects. The specialist interfaces with manufacturers, retailers, Trade Allies, customers, engineers & consultants, and reviews project application forms and submittals to ensure compliance with program policies and procedures. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, an interest in engaging with customers and stakeholders, and experience or knowledge of Energy Efficiency programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and +1 years of experience working in energy efficiency or demand response programs; or consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits, or related work experience.
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Responsibilities

Provide support for field-based staff and a network of participating Trade Allies
Maintain ongoing communications with participating contractors, customers, and consultants.
Address, resolve, or escalate customer and contractor questions related to program participation as needed.
Review and process project application forms and submittits.
Review technical specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for energy efficiency projects.
Analyze technical specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for energy efficiency projects.
Assist technical teams in upholding QA/QC standards and program guidelines.
Perform energy savings calculations for prescriptive energy efficiency measures and upload records into program database.
Process program incentive payments per established policies and procedures.
Coordinate with or follow up on program quality control activities such as inspections and customer surveys as appropriate.
