About The Position

The Associate - Operations-Leadership program is a full-time, entry-level role consisting of a twelve-month training program that prepares participants for operational leadership positions at RRD manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. The program provides comprehensive training across the manufacturing facility, including RRD solutions and manufacturing processes. It follows a cohort class model with specific start dates; the Durham, North Carolina cohort is scheduled to start in February 2027.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, IT, marketing, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Motivation to succeed.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of basic business practices.
• High energy level, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Self-confidence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship in a manufacturing company or environment.
• Knowledge of the printing process.

Responsibilities

• Complete production rotations and learn the six core plant business functions: manufacturing, logistics, operations, administration, human resources, and finance.
• Shadow position-specific roles and perform those roles for a period of time to complete each rotation.
• Assist Plant Leaders with the everyday functions of the facility as learning opportunities arise.
• Attend internal and external plant meetings.
• Read publications about the print and manufacturing industries to increase understanding of the field.
