The Foundation is the largest nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple premise: people everywhere, regardless of identity or circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive lives. We believe our employees should reflect the rich diversity of the global populations we aim to serve. We provide an exceptional benefits package to employees and their families which include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no premiums, generous paid time off, paid family leave, foundation-paid retirement contribution, regional holidays, and opportunities to engage in several employee communities. As a workplace, we’re committed to creating an environment for you to thrive both personally and professionally. The Assurance & Enterprise Risk Management (ARM) team helps protect the integrity of the foundation’s brand and reputation in the service of impact. We provide assurance to foundation leadership and the trustees over the dollars we invest, the data we gather, and the de‐sign of business processes we rely on. We do this through: • Providing objective and independent assurance to the trustees and to foundation leadership; • Monitoring the foundation’s risk exposure; • Assessing the foundation’s and its partners’ performance and capabilities; • Investigating possible illegal, unethical, or improper conduct related to our grantmaking. This position reports to the Director of Assurance and Enterprise Risk Management. We are looking for a full-time Associate to support the team in the implementation of technology solutions, specifically AuditBoard (now known as Optro), and a strong focus on AI tools. This role does not require existing audit experience. It does require skills and experience with systems design, configuration, and implementation, that would be helpful in translating audit and risk management needs into technology solutions. The position lead and/or contribute to the configuration, rollout, and continuous improvement of audit tools and workflows while supporting ongoing audits. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in systems implementation, business analysis, or technology enablement and a demonstrated understanding of using AI tools and an understanding of or experience in audit processes. This position is a limited-term position for 8 months and is based in Seattle. Relocation will not be provided.
