The Associate Maintenance Programs Engineer supports the Maintenance Programs Team within Technical Operations (Tech Ops) by assisting in the development and optimization of Southwest Airlines’ scheduled maintenance programs. They’ll provide engineering support through documentation, data analysis, and regulatory alignment while gaining exposure to OEM standards, internal procedures, and maintenance program processes. They’ll partner with Stakeholders across Tech Ops to analyze data, identify trends, and support maintenance optimization efforts using tools such as Excel, Alteryx, SQL, and VizQL. The Associate Maintenance Programs Engineer brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an engineering mindset, to support data-driven decisions and contribute to the safety, compliance, and reliability of Southwest’s fleet. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX headquarters facility during business hours.
