Requirements

  • Demonstrate professional judgment throughout recommendations, decisions, priority-setting, and analysis of improvement opportunities.

  • 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Establish category strategy, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience.
  • Build partnerships with suppliers, vendors, business partners and other Associate Merchants using influencing and leadership skills.
  • Make decisions about replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing.
  • Work with Product Development and Sourcing teams to create new products for Private Brands.
  • Understand customers and suppliers, and anticipate future business needs.
