Requirements

Demonstrate professional judgment throughout recommendations, decisions, priority-setting, and analysis of improvement opportunities.

2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

Establish category strategy, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience.
Build partnerships with suppliers, vendors, business partners and other Associate Merchants using influencing and leadership skills.
Make decisions about replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing.
Work with Product Development and Sourcing teams to create new products for Private Brands.
Understand customers and suppliers, and anticipate future business needs.
