About The Position

Nuuly is seeking an Associate Merchandise Planner to maximize subscription revenue by creating merchandise and assortment plans for rentals. The role focuses on minimizing risk, increasing productivity, and supporting Nuuly's goals for turn and in-stock. The Associate Merchandise Planner uses planning tools and systems to support decisions, interpret reporting, and communicate findings. They assist with business recommendations and problem-solving, track key metrics, collaborate with the buying team on weekly evaluations, and apply data-driven insights to improve strategies and processes. The role also involves building relationships across buying and planning teams, engaging with senior leaders, and developing professional skills through continued learning and mentorship.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in merchandise planning in a retail environment.
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Results-oriented approach.
Critical-thinking skills.
Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems and handle them appropriately.
Exceptional communication skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong data warehouse skills, including EDW, Looker, and Island Pacific.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
