About The Position

Southeastern Louisiana University Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate plays a vital role in the success of a NCAA Division I intercollegiate men’s basketball program, assisting the head coach with all facets of program management including assisting with instruction and training of student-athletes in on-court operations, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and development technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• A minimum of one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree from an accredited university
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics

Responsibilities

• Assisting the head coach with all facets of program management
