About The Position

The Ambulatory & Physician Services Division of Jackson Health System is expanding and seeking to hire a primary care physician (Internal Medicine) to join their multi-specialty practice at the Ambulatory Care Center Clinic at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Associate Medical Director, JMG is responsible for the planning, diagnostic development, management, and evaluation of medical services at their assigned employee clinic/center. This role involves providing continuous, intensive direct medical diagnosis, consultation, and healthcare services to JHS outpatients, adhering to JHS Standards. The position offers academic exposure, including teaching and rounding with Internal Medicine residents. The average daily patient volume is 18-20, with no call requirements. Requirements

Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
Valid Florida Medical License.
DEA and board certification or eligible in Internal Medicine are required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification with at least 6 months validity required.

Nice To Haves

Other specialty certifications related to specialty are a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
