About The Position

As part of our Ad Ops & Media Ops team, The Enablers of Precision, you help ensure every media investment is supported by accurate data, reliable processes, and seamless execution. This team powers the operational foundation behind successful campaigns, turning details into confidence and creating the accountability that allows smarter decisions to happen. Your work helps connect strategy, activation, and optimization so every signal sharpens the next decision. As an Associate Media Operations Specialist, you'll build a strong foundation in media operations while supporting the processes that keep campaigns organized, accurate, and accountable. You'll learn core prelog and postlog workflows, contribute to data integrity efforts, and collaborate with teammates to ensure media activity is tracked and reconciled accurately.

Requirements

  • 0 to 1 year of professional experience in media, operations, analytics, administration, or a related field.
  • Foundational proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
  • Interest in developing advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data validation techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive processes while maintaining accuracy.
  • Comfort working with large data sets and operational systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets and Google Drive.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and investigate data discrepancies.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team goals.
  • Learning agility and curiosity about media operations and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support the collection, organization, and maintenance of media prelog and postlog data.
  • Audit station reports and media logs to identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential issues requiring follow-up.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data within agency systems, including FileMaker and MediaPro.
  • Update and manage internal trackers, shared databases, and Google Drive documentation.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to validate data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with reconciliation efforts and help resolve reporting discrepancies.
  • Support team coverage during peak workloads and shifting deadlines.
  • Learn and apply agency media operations processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Partner with colleagues across Activation, Planning, Finance, and Client Services to ensure operational accuracy and transparency.
  • Review upcoming media schedules and identify potential discrepancies before spots air.
  • Validate scheduling information and assist with issue resolution prior to campaign launch.
  • Review aired media activity for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify DNR confirmations and assist with missing log follow-up.
  • Support reconciliation processes and reporting readiness.
