Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5–6 years of industrial process maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Experience with pumps, valves, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, tanks, piping systems, and mechanical seals.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximize equipment availability.
  • Repair and maintain valves, centrifuges, pumps, autoclaves, washers, tanks, and associated piping.
  • Rebuild pumps, valves, bearing assemblies, and mechanical seals.
  • Follow cGMP, SOPs, manufacturing documentation, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections of rigging and fall protection equipment.
  • Perform confined space entry and work safely at heights when required.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately to support Right-First-Time operations.
  • Read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Collect and organize technical information from equipment manufacturers, engineering teams, and equipment users.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Technology, and other departments to ensure reliable equipment performance.
  • Escalate equipment and process issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with equipment startup, validation activities, and spare parts management.
  • Train and mentor other maintenance mechanics.
  • Utilize CMMS, corporate applications, and Microsoft Office tools to support maintenance activities.
